A STATE OF TRANCE MEETS ELECTRONIC FAMILY

Electronic Family's A State Of Trance podium is een viering van de onvergetelijke ASOT500 continententour eerder dit jaar, met alle familieleden, vrienden en bekenden. Op 30 juli staat een ‘gathering' van de elektronische familie op de internationale partykalender, waarbij Alex M.O.R.P.H., Aly & Fila, Gabriel & Dresden, Leon Bolier, Rank 1, Setrise, Sied van Riel en Simon Patterson jullie muziekgidsen in het trancebos zijn.

De ‘grande finale' op de A State Of Trance stage is een spetterend muziekvuurwerk, ontstoken door ASOT's Armin van Buuren. Tijdens deze anderhalf uur durende B2B-set deelt hij het podium met zijn drie muziekvrienden Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz en Gareth Emery . Het kwartet wereld-Dj's verruilt tijdelijk de Family Stage voor de nabij gelegen A State Of Trance area, om een drietrapsraket af te vuren die ieder half uur in een andere kleur uiteen spat.

De mondiale luisteraarsmagneet A State Of Trance van Armin van Buuren vierde eerder dit jaar zijn 500ste uitzending met een 5 weken durende wereldtour langs 5 verschillende continenten, en feestelijke tussenlandingen in Johannesburg, Miami, Buenos Aires, Den Bosch en Sydney. De tour werd een voorlopig hoogtepunt voor Alda Events in 2011, waarna besloten werd A State Of Trance een podium te bieden op de mooiste plek in Amsterdam. Het grote stadsbos is inmiddels het vertrouwde speelveld van de organisatie, een plek die iedere keer aanvoelt als thuiskomen.

Electronic Family is het eerste trance-festival ter wereld van deze omvang, waarbij een flink aantal toppers uit de DJ Mag Top 100 samenkomen voor een zonnige ‘trance tribute'. De 8 namen die op het programma staan, komen vrijwel allemaal in de prestigieuze lijst voor. De unieke B2B-act is een spannende optelsom van vier van de beste trance-artiesten uit de top 10.

De Duitse ‘Trance Kaiser' Alex M.O.R.P.H. is al geruime tijd een vaste waarde uit de Armada stal. Het wonder-duo Aly & Fila vliegt over vanuit het mysterieuze land van de Farao's en piramides. De op-en-top Brit Simon Patterson behoort in zijn thuisland nog altijd tot de bekendste trance-artiesten van het moment. Het legendarische tweetal Gabriel & Dresden zet hun solo-activiteiten even in de ijskast voor deze hartverwarmende trance-reünie. Zonder het visionaire Rank 1 had het Hollandse trance-landschap een verdorde aanblik gehad. Sied van Riel is de laatste jaren als een komeet omhoog geschoten en geldt als ‘the next big thing' uit ons muzikale kikkerlandje. Ook top producer Leon Bolier rijgt klapper na klapper aan elkaar, met een eigenzinnige sound als rode draad. De ‘new kid on the block' Setrise tenslotte is een grote belofte voor de zeer nabije toekomst.

A STATE OF TRANCE LIVESTREAM
De miljoenen radioliefhebbers die fysiek niet aanwezig kunnen zijn in het stadsbos, kunnen het eerbetoon aan de populairste elektronische stroming bijwonen via een livestream. De speciale A State Of Trance radioshow zal geheel in het teken staan van de bijzondere trance-dag in de hoofdstad, live uitgezonden vanaf het gelijknamige podium.

A STATE OF TRANCE MEETS ELECTRONIC FAMILY

Electronic Family's A State Of Trance stage is a celebration of the unforgettable ASOT500 continental tour earlier this year. All friends, acquaintances and relatives will be present and correct. The ASOT stage is part of the Electronic Family festival on July 30th. The stage will see Alex M.O.R.P.H., Aly & Fila, Gabriel & Dresden, Leon Bolier, Rank 1, Setrise, Sied van Riel and Simon Patterson acting as your personal musical guides through the woods of trance for the day. The grand finale for the A State Of Trance stage is a spectacular musical fireworks show, helmed by ASOT's one and only Armin van Buuren. During this 1.5 hour back-to-back set, Armin will share the stage with Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz and Gareth Emery. These four globally acknowledged DJs will switch stages for a little while to soundtrack the fireworks together.

Armin van Buuren recently did a five-week world tour with celebratory stops in Johannesburg, Miami, Buenos Aires, Den Bosch and Sydney. Alda Events shared numerable euphoric moments with Armin van Buuren during this tour, so it's no wonder that they decided to dedicate the A State Of Trance stage at one of Amsterdam's most beautiful spots to the world's number one trance DJ. The Amsterdamse bos has become a home base for Alda Events, a place that feels like coming home, time after time.

Electronic Family is the first trance festival in the world of this size, in which many of the A-list DJmag Top 100 DJs will be gathering around for a sunny trance tribute. The eight names that are on the ASOT stage line-up pretty much all feature in this prestigious list. The unique back-to-back act for the finale is an exciting experience for four of the world's main trance artists.

German trance stalwart Alex M.O.R.P.H. has been floating around Armada for quite some time now. The miraculous duo Aly & Fila from Egypt are flying in from their mysterious land of pyramids and deserts. Simon Patterson, in his own country and beyond, is still is one of the most well-known trance artists around. The legendary US duo Gabriel & Dresden will be putting their solo activities to one side temporarily for a warm reunion at Electronic Family.

Without the vision of Rank 1, the Dutch trance landscape would be pretty boring. Sied van Riel has risen like a rocket over the last few years and he is definitely the next big thing in our tiny but musically well-developed country. Top producer Leon Bolier also travels by the speed of light as he comes up with banger after banger. And the new kid in the scene, Setrise, is a very promising person, the future holds great things for him.
